MN1 Online Form for baby born in the UK

Post by mullangi1237 » Thu Apr 25, 2019 12:24 am

Hi,

My situation...

Baby born in the UK on 28 October 2018. During this time I was on Tier 2 General visa and my wife was dependent.

Applied Indian Passport for baby on 27 March 2019.

Baby traveled to India along with mother (I’m in the UK still) only with Indian passport. I did not apply for UK dependent visa to baby as it is not a requirement to travel to India.

I received my ILR on 24 April 2019.

Can I apply for naturalisation from India for my baby?

Please help me guys,
Nish

Children are REGISTERED as British not naturalised. Have you clicked the link that vinny has provided, which contains other useful links???

@CR001

Based on our scenario...
My baby born in the UK. She do not have any current UK based visa. She traveled to India with Indian passport and currently in India.

Can I still register as British? If yes, I should fill the MN1 and start by answering Are you in the UK? - NO

MN1 issue

Post by mullangi1237 » Thu Aug 15, 2019 6:01 pm

Hi

My daughter is 10 months old. Born in the UK before I got ILR.

Due to some emergency daughter (with INDIAN passport and no UK based visa. I did not apply for dependent with a plan I can apply for MN1 directly) and mother (Tier 2 Dependent) traveled to India. Mother came back leaving daughter in India.

I'm planning to bring her back using the MN1 application.

I want to fill the online MN1 application > post it to HO along with original documents > When the HO contact us for biometrics > Can I book for biometrics in India for her?

Nishanth
