Tier2 visa extension help with Cos URGENT

Post by hemant08 » Fri Apr 26, 2019 4:52 pm

HI,
Urgent piece of advise required,
First of all I work in the NHS and am shifting trusts i.e working with a new hospital who is giving me a higher salary , I am already on tier2 visa So i would be applying for an extension right?

Secondarily my new trust has issued me a Cos of one year whereas they promised with 3years . upon my request they have added a sponsors note saying that Cos be extended to three years but haven't made any extra payment to the HO.
What start and end dates should I mention in my application 1 year or 3 years? as I don't want my application to be rejected.
My start date is 15/6/2019 but I will not be leaving my present post till 14/7 and will be applying for extension on 20/5 via standard route I hope that should be OK.
Advice in my case would be highly appreciated.

Sponsor note is not going to do the job of extending the COS to three years. They will have to issue a new COS with the correct period of three years.

start dates with new employer URGENT HELP!!

Post by hemant08 » Mon Jul 15, 2019 2:18 pm

Hello,
My Tier2 change of employers visa got delayed a bit and I took an extension from my previous employer .
Now the point is I got my BRP today i.e. on 15/7 but the issue date is 28/6 my present contract ends 22/7 and new job will supposedly start on 23/7 .
will it be any problem in my ILR?
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Unclear whether you applied for an extension with your previous employer and that is the BRP you have now received or if you apply for change of sponsor visa and got that BRP??

it's that my BRP says the date is 28/6 and My contract with old employer ends 22/7 which I extended from 30/6 because I wasn't getting an answer from the HO then.
So I get My BRP by post today am I legally allowed to work for my old sponsor for this last week and then change jobs? or has there sponsorship ended and I have to stop working for them ?
It might be sounding stupid but I wanted to be clear so their is no problem when I apply for my ILR.

Your sponsorship with previous employer has ended from the date your new tier 2 was approved. Technically you should not be working for your old sponsor but HO is aware of notice periods etc and no one has been refused ILR because of this that I have seen on the forum

There should be no issue with ILR. You are overthinking.
