Didnt apply yet. Need to do life in the uk test first. I couldnt have time to do it due to work and university. So might apply in June.

My case is the same almost. After being destitute since 2002 asylum application in 2011 gained 3 years x 2 = 6 years discretionary leave outside immigration rules. Then ILR in January 2018.
So i mite take the risk.

Just had a baby born 2 weeks ago in UK

Hi Odat,

Were you without leave as a distitute asylum seeker or for any other reason. did they not ask you to provide a way of accomodating yourself

Did home office give you any future date about your eligibility when you can apply again
Or may be you can appeal ?

sorry to hear aboutyour refusal odat..

but i think most of the people going for reconsideration do get a positive response... I am not talking out of experience but if you look at the forum there are many examples...But as i said its a gamble of the reconsideration money if you want to risk it...
