Hi

Me and my wife are currently in UK on separate work permits. if I switch to tier 1 visa will my wife be able to swich from her work permit to my dependent visa.

Some one please answer!!!

yes she can. Enclose ur mariage certificate

What is it with people like you, if you're going to give advice on here there's just one rule - GET YOUR FACTS RIGHT!

The answer to this question is no, the guidance notes clearly state who can be included as a dependant. Anyone not already holding a dependant visa cannot switch within the UK. In this case the wife will need to leave the UK and obtain entry clearance as a dependant.

Advising without basis. If you can't guide ... at least don't misguide.

To the OP, while your wife can switch to Tier 1 in her own right from within UK (if she wants). But, as already noted by WoodieG, she will have to return to her home country to make an EC application as a dependent (once your Tier 1 is approved).
