Query regaring EC - Urgent

Hi,

I am from india..I am having an HSMP approval letter and planning to go for EC this month. I hv sufficient funds(GBP 5000) in my account from last one month.

Recently i got an offer from an UK company the were expecting me to be there by with in one month. I hv a friend here in india who can sponsor me the required GBP 2800 for my application ( He maintained these funds from last 4 months).

but i hv some doubts regarding this

1. Will they accept the sponsor from india for my application?

2. If my EC got cleared in this month, can my wife put a separate application in next month that time the funds in our joint account will be maintained upto 3 months. What are all the documents she need to produce..

The maintenance funds have to be in an account which is either and individual account in your name or a joint account holder with your wife. There is no clarity whether joint accounts with other family members are accepted or not. Given these rules, a sponsorship from your friend is not going to work, unless BHC can confirm it is okay with them.

Your wife can apply later, that's no problem. Search the forum for details of documentary evidence. All this information is already available.
