FLRM- Extension

Post by Stranger2010 » Wed May 01, 2019 3:56 pm

Hi All,

My wife's 1st 30 months visa is expiring tomorrow 02/05/2019. we have applied online for her extension online and paid for visa fee+ NHS health surcharges.
At the end of application it doesn't say where to send all documents.
At the end of the application it says "You must book and attend an appointment with our commercial partner to provide your documents and biometrics (fingerprints and facial photograph). You must attend an appointment by 03 July 2019, but we encourage you to attend one as quickly as possible and will send you a reminder after 15 working days if you have not booked your appointment"
We have booked the appointment but the earliest date ( free of cost) we got is 21st of May.

I shall be very thankful if you guys can help me with the following:

1- Do we need to send all documents to Home Office with supporting documents today or tomorrow or take all documents including passports ( applicant, British husband and children) at the time of fingerprints appoints at Sopra ( UKVCAS)?
2- Previously date of posting documents through royal mail used to be the application date.
Will the home office consider today's date as application date ( in time) as fee and NHS charges were deducted today 01/05/2018 ( 1 day before current visa FLRM expiry)

No, you don't post anything. You must make an appointment at Sopra UKCVAS and upload/scan your documents.
2- Previously date of posting documents through royal mail used to be the application date.
Will the home office consider today's date as application date ( in time) as fee and NHS charges were deducted today 01/05/2018 ( 1 day before current visa FLRM expiry)
Date of application is the date you submit and pay online now.

Why did you leave it so late to apply for the extension??

Have you got all the evidence of cohabitation etc??
Char (CR001 not Casa)

we were waiting for Pakistani passport renewal. The authorities took almost 5 months instead of 3 weeks and new passport arrived 2 days ago

Have you got all the evidence of cohabitation etc??
Yes more than 6 documents each for 2 years
