Tier 2 depedent spouse of ILR holder

Post by padmalal » Wed Apr 25, 2018 8:32 pm

Dear Admin

I am a Tier 2 general visa holder and am eligible to apply for ILR. My wife entered the UK as a Tier 2 dependent 2 years ago. I am applying for ILR in a couple of weeks as my Tier 2 visa is due to expire in 3 months. My wife's visa also expires in 3 months. how could she apply for visa extension

thank you

Are you applying for ILR under the 5 year route, or long residence :?:

In which case your wife can continue to extend her visa as a PBS Dependant.

https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... nt-partner

your partner can apply online as PBS dependent on their own, if you settled through PBS route.

The Immigration Rules permit your dependents to continue on their current visa route.

See dependants-of-ilr-economic-5-year-route-applicants (click)

Hi
I was granted IRL this week under Tier 2, 5 YEAR RULE.

now my wife and 3 children are applying for PBS dependent extension.
What is the minimum required savings for 90 days?

I wonder if we need to show £945 for me in addition to their requirement of £630 each.

Greatly appreciate your advice.
