Bank statements for flr(m)

Post by Suni2610 » Fri May 10, 2019 10:28 pm

Hello

We are going to be applying for my husband's extension soon however we recieved the wrong dates needed on our bank statements. We went into NatWest and they have printed off the statements and it has the bank's name and branch details stated on them. Will this be ok to put into the application? Thanks

correct dates on bank statements have huge significance because according to HO guidance the latest bank statement shouldn't be older than 28 days before the date of application and also for proving sufficient income the correct dates on bank statements are very important so that they matches with payslips.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

Yeah, the date is the most important thing.

I know some people have asked questions such as 'do you need the bank to print the statements out themselves and stamp / certify them?'

Personally we just printed the statements out ourselves via the Bank's online portal - and that was acceptable. For some banks this is the only way to get paper statements now anyway as they don't post them to you anymore.
