UK Born Baby - BC and Passport

Father recently got ILR after baby birth.

Baby register as birth citizen is submitted online on 26th April 2019, Bio metrics on 15th May 2019.

Baby has currently Indian Passport holder,

Can baby travel to India while Register as BC is still in process?

Can i apply baby British passport once BC registration certificate is approved ?

Can i send Registration Certificate to India by Post ?

Do airlines ask for UK status while boarding flight to India ?

Can i apply baby passport in UK while baby is in India ? or should i only apply in India ?

Answers to above are much appreciated!

Or is it worth cancelling trip and waiting until baby get British Passport ?
