T2 General dependent Visa from UK

Hello Experts,
Need your advise on this;

Currently i am having T2 ICT main Visa which is valid till Oct 2019.

Now I am applying for T2 General Dependent visa(My spouse got T2 general visa.)

Once i get T2 general dependent visa,Can i continue to use T2 ICT visa until i am associated with current company which sponsored ICT visa?

Please suggest.

Your Tier 2 ICT visa will be cancelled automatically once your Tier 2 Dependent visa is granted. Once you have a new visa, you have to inform your employer and update your right to work documents etc.

I haven't got any info on timeline on decision making for T2 general dependent visa hence posting this to you.


I had a biometric and document submission for T2 general dependent visa on 11th May(Me and Kid) from UK.

Could you help to understand,what is the normal decision making timeline for T2 dependent visa?(how many days from biometric).

It depends on what service you chose and paid for.

If you chose standard service, it can take up to 8 weeks.
