Tier 2 Extension Health Surcharge

My Tier 2 visa expires on 10 Aug, if I apply to extend for another year now will UKBA charge me for 1 year (£400) or 1 year plus two and half months (£400 x 2 = £800)

Of course i have already paid full health surcharge for my current visa which will take me to 10th Aug. It’s just that the overlapping period I am concerned of.

You pay the IHS in line with the duration of your CoS. If you Cos is for one year, that is what you pay.
