I think they are still running checks on your spouse and maybe some people got it because through that checks case worker were able to establish that spouse's 5 years residence. When I apply first I have received an email from home office asking for proof of mine and my spouse's 5 years residence and his copy of id. I have not replied to email and after two weeks of this email I have received a second email but this time they were only asking between 2016 and March 2018 and not copy of his id. I did call them asked them why it was just last 2.5 years as opposed 5 years and they told me that they have lost his footprint after 2016! That means they had a check on him even though I have no provided his National Insurance number and I am 100% sure that he has not applied yet. That makes me a bit nervous as I said before maybe the reason that couple of other people got their settle status because home office did check on their spouse and established the 5 years residence.askmeplz82 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2019 7:21 amSo basically you can apply even with just marriage certificate and your residency proof and your passport and home office will do the rest
I have submit my aplication two weeks ago. After I uploaded the docs i did call them and told them we are seperated and dont have full five year proof of residence for him. I do jave his copy of passport but did not uploaded as i explained above when they send the second email the only thing they ask for him was his last 2.5 years of residence.askmeplz82 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 1:23 ami see. i was checking my facebook message and shocked to find my ex wife national ID card which she gave to me 4 years ago when i asked for it for schengen visa and it's valid til 2022 ... now i just have to find residency proof. i still have joint account with her and statement comes to my address every month . i don't want use that because technically it will proof my residency not her because she doesn't live with me from long time
did you give home office what they asked for ? if not what you you going to do?
Yes. I uploaded my proof of residence and p60 for 2016 and 2017 for my husband. After i sent the email I called the resolution centre and told them that i was not able to provide full 5 years proof of residence for my husband and they told me they put that as a note to the caseworker. If you miss docs they are sending you an email which states what is missing for your aplication.askmeplz82 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2019 9:12 am" when they send the second email the only thing they ask for him was his last 2.5 years of residence "
