Hello,

I was just going through the Tier 1 Entrepreneur Policy guidance and on page #34 under the Table F: settlement applications points table, it says;

If you are applying for settlement you will need to provide all the necessary documentation to
evidence you have met the requirements of the table above. In all cases you should supply the
required evidence of investment and job creation set out in the Extension Application section above.

If you are applying for accelerated settlement you will also need to provide the additional evidence
specified bellow to show you meet at least one of the two accelerated settlement routes.

but in the table it says;

You do not need to provide evidence of this investment if you were awarded
points for this investment in your last successful Tier 1 (Entrepreneur)
application.

This is quite confusing. I know that you have already told me that there is no need to provide evidence for that but why are they asking for it in the end of the table?

Please guide
This is an error. There is no investment evidence needed as you have scored points for it at extension stage. Ignore the error.
Alright, thanks

Note the phrase set out in the extension application section. It simply means once you have satisfied this, you don’t need again. It sounds confusing but nobody has sent the investment evidence twice that I know, so just ignore it. You can’t make the investment twice anyway, it has to be done once.

You can claim only from 6th Sep 2017. FPS staring from Sep 2017.

Cohabitation should be last 2 years.

Sorry, I mentioned wrong date. BRP is dated 04/09/2017 so I can claim points from September then. 04/09/2017 - 03/10/2017 will be covering the first month after extension, right?

Yes. But since you are claiming from 4/9/17, you will be sending FPS and wage slips starting from Sep 2017 given the job started in Sep 2017 on/after 4th Sep. Each job should exist 12 months each. It will start from the job start date.

Basically you need 2 FT jobs that existed 12 months each. If your extension was approved on 4th Sep 2017, you can claim any jobs from that day. You only need to send FPS for the relevant period you are claiming for. Lets say for example your job/employment only started in Nov 2017, you will send FPS from Nov 2017.

Hello,

I have just checked on some other post that

"(c) Regardless of whether you are self-employed, a director or member, you must also
provide:
(i) an overview of your business’s activity, including an explanation of the goods or
services it provides to its customers or clients; and
(ii) your job title and job description, setting out your role within the company, how you
are implementing your business plan and what your main tasks and responsibilities
are in running the business."

I can't find it on the guidance anywhere? I have an online application but nothing is being updated on it as well. Do I need to send these along with other documents? Can you please let me know where I can find this?

Thank you

You can either write out on an A4 paper and send with your application or include it in a cover note under Business activity. I included mine in mine cover letter

Ok, thanks but is there any where that I can find it. It's not on the policy guidance, where is this information given?

It’s on page 27 sub section C before job creation as stated below

Hi Bizman,

Thank you, I just read it. As it was in the extension so I didn't go through it as I was thinking that this is the requirement for extension only and not for ILR.

I will prepare that, thank you so much for all your help and guidance.

Hello,

I am about to scan the passports for me and family. I have a question, do I need to scan all the pages that have stamps of entry and exits (5 years) or every single one of it?

Also my spouse was already here on student visa with kids as dependents. They switched to Tier 1 dependents once I came to UK so do I need to send their recent passports only or also the ones which they used earlier on arrival to UK?

Do I need to scan every single page of their passports as well or the biometric page will be fine?

Thank you
