Hi Aman,
The Employement check link I have used it in the past about 6 weeks back .
They replied me they don't need one of this check for me as I am a self employed.
The home office emailed back saying you don't need one . That means I am on the tier1 entrepreneur still, and not allowed to work
For anybody.
Try again! It’s been 6 weeks.

The only difference between PSC and Sopra is that at the PSc CW decided applications on the spot whereas Sopra is a digital courier service..if anything I’d assume it’d take longer with Sopra as it’s a new system and has teething problems.
This year most applications are taking longer than last year

Dear XXXX

Thank you for your email correspondence of 2 May on behalf of XXX, about his immigration matter.

On 16 July 2018, submitted a Tier 1 Entrepreneur application.

On 9 January, submitted an Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) application under our super priority service. This remains under consideration. We contacted XX to see if he would like to proceed with the Tier 1 application or the ILR application and he advised us that he wishes to proceed with the ILR application.

On 16 January, we sent a letter to XX to advise him that his application is valid but there are further enquiries that need to be made.

On 25 January, we sent an email to XX to advise him that his application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider his case thoroughly and reach a decision.

A further email was also sent to him on 29 January, 19 February, 14 March and 2 April, to state that we aim to complete all applications within the 24-hour service standard. However, where we are not able to do this we will complete the application as quickly as possible and where delays in making the decision are not the fault of the customer, the super priority service fee will be refunded.

XX was also advised by a telephone call on 12 April, that his application is in progress, but we are unable to provide a timescale as to when a decision will be made.

Please reassure XX that we are endeavouring to conclude his application as quickly as possible and will contact him once a decision has been made.

I realize this will be frustrating for XX. However, I hope you will understand that it is important that we complete all our inquiries before making a decision

Yours sincerely

this is the response from my mp got I it today, which she got it from the home office.

but in this email, they mentioned the dates they send an email to me are nothing received to me either by email or letter.

when phoned them up this morning they told me to write to the caseworker in letter no email address given.

Not everyone receives emails but check ur spam folder.
You should have received the complex letter though.

I think there is a Complaints email for HO for service standards etc..
Who signed off the letter to mp? Anyways for your piece of mind. Write a polite letter to the HO.. stating ur case ID, nationality, dob, address, email.. and refer to the MP letter, that you have unfortunately not received any intimation to date via email or post and to rectify the situation. The letter will be added to your case file.

Home Office
SET(LR)
Indefinite Leave to Remain PO Box 591
Durham
DH1 9FS

Not sure if above is the address but I’ve posted to HO after application submission to SET (O) team. Sheffield.
Bide ur time as nothing more to do.

@aman and @cr001 please advise me.

following your guidance I have written a letter to the home office requesting the fee back and decision on my application.
they had responded with a refund of super priority and previous application fee.
regarding a decision on my application, they replied as complex application. and they mentioned required more time to make a decision.
anyone can please suggest to me what action I can take at the moment to get a decision quickly on my application.

I have received an email reply from home office after an escalation yesterday(15 Aug2019),
the reply is
"You were informed by email & letter that we would not be able to decide your application within the published service standards because your application is of a complex/exceptional case. We aim to decide on your application as soon as possible"

I don't understand why they are saying like that, can anyone help me out on this.

Sorry, but it would be helpful if you can explain what exactly you don't understand.

They have classified your case as a complex one. It could be any number of reasons - no. of documents submitted, nature of your business or they may even be simply using it as an excuse to make sure their statistics looks good.

Don't read too much into it. Many cases that have been classed complex have been successful without any issues.

I don't understand why they are saying complex case my application?

my application is based on 10 years route, where they have all the information they required about me.
and I don't understand what issues made an application is complex.

to all moderators and members of this group.
Casa, push, JAJ, ca.funke, Amber, Zimba, vinny, Obie, EUsmileWEallsmile, batleykhan, geriatrix, John, ChetanOjha, archigabe

today I have received a letter dated 9th September 2019 saying that
"we wrote to you on 16th January 2019 inform you that we would not be able to decide your application within 24 hours from the date it was submitted.we subsequently wrote to you on 16th June 2019 and advised that we expected to make a decision on your application by 19th September 2019. unfortunately this is not going to be possible.
this is because your application raises exceptionally complex issues and we require further time to consider your case thoroughly and reach a decision.
we expect to make a decision on your application by 19th December 2019 but we will write to you again if this is not going to possible."

can anybody suggest me what I have to need to do or what action can I take at this moment to get a decision on my application?

any suggestions or help much appreciated.

Unfortunately, not much. It is a pity and understandably frustrating.

You can try things that the others in this forum have tried - contact MP, file a PAP and keep sending letter. But in reality, none of them have ever seemed to have any effect.
