Tier1 General - my doubts

Post by tulipz » Mon Jun 30, 2008 10:53 am

Hi All,
i'm all set to file my husband's tier1 application in 2 weeks from now.
We've waited for 3 months to get the maintainance funds requirement. Here are my questions. Please clarify them

1. Maint Funds: We have a little over 2800 pounds for a period of three months. Its a salary account and no major transactions. In one of the posts, I read that the funds should be shown for all the dependants even if they are not applying for EC now. Does that mean another 1600 pounds for me? we are expecting our first child in August. How about the baby?

We do not have our marriage certificate yet. So, can he apply "without dependents" now and later add both of us (me and the baby) as dependents ?

2. What are the formalities at VFS ? What additional documents are needed? Any photographs required ?

Please advise.

Please search the forum for documents required by BHC. Loads of information is available already. Also suggest that you check with VFS for the *updated and accurate* list of supporting documents required / accepted by BHC.
