First passport after Naturalisation - Do I need to send original documents/passport??

I would like to know if I need to send the original passport and naturalisation letter to apply for the first passport or If there is a service with certified copies??? I might need to travel so trying to hold my original passport. Cheers

Unfortunately, certified copies are not accepted. You have to send originals of the following:

- your certificate of naturalisation
- the passport you entered the UK with (if you still have it)
- all uncancelled passports that you currently have
