it's possible, living here for 3 consecutive years on eu4fam card than initiate divorce (likely in another country ) than apply for retention,

Well you may start divorce proceedings.

And apply to retain your residence.

little background

-> Submit retention application To Department on 10-Sep-2018 (Just Document Related to me. e.g. my p60, my bills, my Bank Statement etc)
-> Requested Decree By Department on 19-Sep-2018
-> Decree Sent To Dept on 10-OCT-18
-> Requested wife Documents By Department 19-Oct-2018 (4 working Weeks Time)
-> Requested Doc Submitted To Dept on 16-Nov-18
-> Acknowledgement Received By Department on 22-Nov-18 ( The Enclose therein have been added to your client's file. A decision will issue on your clients application in due course)

Question:
1. As its been almost 7 months, should I ask my solicitor to start chasing department for decision OR give them time and not to disturb them..

2. As my retention application is in process from almost 7 months and my stamp4efam is going to expire in Oct2019 and as per rule you can apply EU3 and citizenship 6 months before your Stamp4EUFam expire, I know EU3 will not proceed without retention decision, I'm wondering can I apply for EU3 OR Should I wait for Retention decision??

@Nav1234 to understand better, please reply below questions.

when you guys get married??
when you guys get separated??
For how long you guys been in Ireland??
when you said working in college does that mean studying ther OR JOB??

just to let you know, if she left before your divorce finalize, your permissions will become invalid.
