EU family separated and travelling

Post by Bobby89 » Fri May 31, 2019 8:06 pm

Hi to all
Hope you all are doing good. I have query that I have planned to visit my country for few days. I am on EU family Visa. And currently separated from my European partner. I have informed immigration about separation. My question is about, will there be any problem in airport on my return back to Ireland. As I am not living with her from last one year. She is living in Ireland.
Will appreciate your reply. Thanks :D

Is she still exercising treaty rights in the state or has she departed? Or on social welfare?

Why dont you make sure your position is safe before you travel?

Thanks for reply. She is exercising her right in Ireland. And I want to travel because of my health issues.

You may travel if you are sure she is still working in Ireland. Provided a genuine marriage was contracted, you remain a family member until after your divorce.
