Hi as Amsterdam is in Europe the visa from Spanish embassy is a Schengen Visa so is valid anywhere in Europe so you will be fine. I doubt you will need a to show your visa in Amsterdam anyway . Good luck with the visa application from Spanish , be aware you need 3 minimum months validity on your Uk visa to apply.

Her visa is valid in all Schengen space, besides if you won't leave the airport it should be fine.

I don't think you need bank details and employment letters. But just in case maybe you want to have a bank statement with you, although again, they should only care about flight details and accomodation.

When I was on a spouse visa n applied for a Schengen visa to Spain, I had to provide proof of employment and bank statements to prove sufficient funds.

Thanks for that ! I just spoke to a guy from BLS international . He reckons i need to apply for an Eu Spouse visa . He says the requirements are different Ie No proof of Employment or Bank statements . Could this Be correct ?

For Spain they would then expect to see apostilled marriage cert etc, which I didn't have and hence just applied for a standard visa.

You are applying for a Schengen visa. You simply apply as the spouse of an EU citizen, which means the visa fee is waived.
