Switching from Tier 2 General Main to Dependant

Hi,

Can a tier 2 General Main applicant switch to a Tier 2 General dependent within the country? Can this be done after the spouse ( who is on Tier 2 G dependent ) gets his Tier 2 General Main visa from India? I am unable to find official links that provide information,Can someone please help me with this?

You can apply it from inside UK, Once your partner got Tier 2 approved.

Will my spouse have to take the TB test and the English test once again? He was my dependent in the UK and will have to travel back to India for his Tier 2 G visa now.

If you partner is living in UK for more than 6 months then you need to submit TB certificate.

if your partner has UK degree submit those certifcates if not try to get NARIC.

We have been in the UK for the last two years now...does this still require a TB certificate?
