Tier 2 to ILR and issue with dependents

Hi CR001,

I have follow many posts but no is answering my question, hope you can.

i am applying pbs extension for my wife and child, it has a question asking my cos years like 3 years or 5 years.

my previous cos is 5 years period.

I know if i select for "more than 3 years" still we get three years visa but fees are very high.

can we select "less than 3 years" and apply. will that cause a problem in future.

she needs only 6moths for ilr extension.
