Family Visit Document scan

Hi there

We are planning to apply visit visa for my father. Just want to check the procedure of documents scanning on VFS website.

Is it must that we buy the service or can we upload the documents ourselves. I am not able to see the option when I proceed further. Can you please guide me whoever applied via VFS recently from South India

Also please suggest what other service that you can recommend from VFS

What was your experience in this.
I’ve completed the application form but not sure of order of steps after this.
I understand I can’t change application form once proceeding to payment screen.
But not sure how long will I have to submit documents and can I book appointment straight away before submitting documents.
And can further documents be uploaded after booking appointment
Any help will be appreciated
