Visa Application in case of new Passport (marital status change)

Hey Guys,

My wife is back in India and she plans to come back to UK with my daughter. She has a valid BRP till Nov-2020. She had to get a new passport with her Marital Status changed since she had to apply passport for my daughter. Does she have to make a new VISA application since her passport has changed or that would not be necessary since she has a valid BRP ? I read some of the threads that mentioned about renewal of passport but did not find any answers in case of a marital update. Please advice. In case she does not have to apply again for a VISA, would she have to carry the old passport as well for the immigration check? Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

She can travel back but will need the marriage cert to show the change of name as her passport and brp won't match.

We don't intend to change the name in her passport. Just the spouse information.
