EC stamp for baby?

Post by Londonite » Wed Mar 23, 2005 10:20 pm

Had a baby girl last month. We're in the process of getting a passport for her. Does anyone know if we also need an HSMP EC stamp for her?

Londonite, from your previous postings I think the baby was born in the UK so a UK visa is needed in her passport in order to enable her to re-enter the UK, after taking a trip abroad.

Of course in-UK visas fees increase substantially as from 1st April. If you have her passport in time, certainly apply for her UK visa this month.

Thanks for your help John and Guestman. Yes, baby was born in the UK so we will be paying the increased in-country fee unfortunately.
