ra_njan wrote:Hi All,
find below the list of documents I have submitted.
1) Age - Passport
2) Earnings - 12 Month Payslip signed and stamped by my employer + 12 months bank statement showing salary credit, also stamped and signed by ICICI bank.
3) Qualification - Masters Degree Original Certificate
4) English language - IELTS test report
5) maintanance fund - 3 months statement from HSBC, signed and stamped.
6) Accomodation - Nothing. It was not even asked to me.
7) Job advertisement. - Nothing. It was not even asked to me.
In vfs, they asked my current employer offer letter. I told them clearly that it is no where mentioned in Guide. Then they hv not said anything.
Nowadays, I found lot of posts where people telling, vfs asked about their accomodation and job details in UK. I dont know if they have started this things now. I would request the applicants, when it is asked by vfs guys, can u people ask them by which rule in the PBS Tier 1 guide, they need these douments? if they are still asking, ask them to give it in written format. I believe, until and unless it is mentioned in the rulebook, they just cant harras us creating their own brain breaking rules.
No..I have not required to submitted the proof, because I had the money for more than 4 months , and in last 3 months there were no big transfer happens except regular trabnsactions.cgohil wrote:Hi,
Thnx for sharing an information with us. Did u submitted any source of evidence for maintanance fund from where u got all the money in to ur account.
did u submitted any contact details of the employee.
I know VFS guys asking so many things when people called them. Nothing is mentioned on PBS guideline or tier 1 guideline regarding the accomodation proof n job advertisement but then also they ask many things I dont know why.
I think u have submitted the documents which is been asked or mentioned in the guidelines and u got the reward as well.

From within UK: 0800 587 5572 and 0114 207 4074. These are the only 2 numbers. Needless to say, patience is the keyword.hursh wrote:Hi,
I applied for my PBS Tier 1 application in June from UK.( 05/Jun/08 )
What is the number to check status of application?
I am calling 0114-207 4074 but 99% of the time it is engaged and 1% of the time when it connects if I select PBS Tier 1 option it disconnects.
If anyone knows number to call in UK please let me know.
thanks
I applied on June 4, 2008. The status the same for me as well I applied from Mumbai.heavymetal wrote:I applied on 2-June-2008, on july 3rd also status says forwarded to BHC

Maybe because people don't always mention whether they are applying in UK or in their home country or one fails to notice this small detail. e.g.- every author in this thread except you applied in India.Need HSMP wrote:Congused to see mixed responses. Few applicants get approval in 6 weeks and few are waiting for more than 10 weeks.
