FLR(M) or EEC1 ?

Post by sunil_kumar » Sat Mar 26, 2005 9:54 am

Hi ,
I intend to marry my French Fiance next month and I was thinking to apply through EEC1 Application.
But I also heard that FLR(M) form can also be used for the same .

In my personal opinion I would apply through EEC1 .

Is it better to use EEC1 or FLR(M) ?

(Maybe John might know the answer :) )

Thanks,
Sunny

You have to apply on EEC1 form because your wife is french citizen. You can only use the FLR form if your wife has already Indefinite Leave to Remain.
On EEC1 form you can only apply per post.

Sunil, I agree with the comments here .... form EEC1 is the correct form to use ... after the marriage.

It is also distinctly cheaper to apply using the EEC1 form! Fee? Nothing!
