Is B1 really needed?

Post by daqm » Fri Jun 21, 2019 2:35 pm

I have been in the UK for 8 years, I worked here, my family is here, and my english is therefore perfect.
Do I still need a B1 or above in order to apply for the citizenship? (I've got the residency card).

Yes, it is a mandatory requirement and must be from an HO approved test provider. You also need the Life in the UK test.
(I've got the residency card).
Is it a Document Certifying PR and states this clearly or is a 5 year residence card??
