Tier 2 employer change new cos time period

Hi all,
My tier 2 visa is assigned for 3 years.
If I change my employment right now, can I get a new tier 2 for 5 years? Or is it limited to the current time it is assigned?

How long your new employer Tier 2 visa will be for depends on the length of CoS they issue. You cannot hold a tier 2 for more than 6 years, regardless of how many employers you have.

For a new tier 2 visa for changing sponsor, you have to pay visa fees and IHS fees again.
