Tier-2 Dependent stay outside UK for 180 days

Hello Everyone,

My wife is currently on Tier-2 (dependent visa ) and she is India for her maternity leave. She has been outside for 6 months now and would be returning back soon. I wanted to know if immigration check would have any problems with being out for more than 180 days, I saw a lot of threads which said it was not a problem with dependents and would only affect the ILR application. Some threads suggested that they may be asked reasons for being outside UK. What exactly is the rule, if any for the dependents and would there be any questions asked at the immigration check.
