child British citizenship

Post by Mr Javed » Mon Jun 03, 2019 10:25 am

Hi All,

I am on ILR & my child born in uk last year I do have birth certificate.

I am planning to apply nautralization for my child & I understand that I can do online as well but my question is what documents they need from me?

Do I have to send my brp card for my status proof?
my wife still on PBS dependent also i need to send her brp card as well with my child application?

If somebody let me know which other documents required.

I have two referral as well but what if I do not have solicitor or qualified person as I required for one referral can i use some other person because I do not have that kind of personal contact?

answers will be appreciated

You need to send proof of your ilr. Your spiuse status is irrelevant.

The online form will tell you what documents sre needed.

You need two referees. One must be a professional on the HO list of accepted referees and can be any nationality. The other must be British and over 25 years of age. Both must know the child.

Hi Cr001,

I have one person who is british from last 25 years but I do not have professional referee.

What should I do because I am unable to find any referee with professional back ground.

You need to stick the photo on the form.

Don't worry about HO not being able to see what is written on the back.
