ILR SET M - Super priority service decision

Post by flowers2019 » Thu Jul 04, 2019 5:57 pm

Hello all,

I've been reading through the topics here and have seen a lot of different stories/experiences in regards to the super priority service and I wanted to share mine for some help.

I attended my appointment at the Croydon UKVCAS center this morning (8AM) and submitted all of my documents. I used the scanning service and provided my biometrics.

I have received an email this afternoon (2-3 hours after my appointment) which states the following:
"Thank you for your Super Priority Application for Indefinite Leave to Remain.

A letter has been issued to you via recorded delivery: "". Please note your letter may not be traceable for the first 48 hours via the Royal Mail trace and track service.

Please await the receipt of this letter and follow the instructions provided.

Please note as we have begun consideration of your case within 24 hours of submission, we have met our obligations under the Super Priority service and you will therefore will not be eligible for a refund of the Super Priority fee."

I haven't received anything else since. I know that UK Gov are still within the 24 hours/next working day time scale but this email seems to indicate that I need to wait for a letter and then take some form of action based on whatever is in the letter.

I haven't seen this letter online in the forum before, maybe some variations but none informing them to wait for a letter to arrive and follow instructions. I'm really worried that there is a problem with my application.

Has anyone had this correspondence before or have any advice?

Thanks

There have been a few members who received this particular email. It generally means a refusal of ILR and offering FLR and for you to pay the IHS.

What is your UK immigration history leading to ILR on Set(M)???

I'm on the 5 year spouse route with a British citizen. This is the final application in the 5 year route. We've been in a civil partnership for 5 years and have had no issues or refusals for any previous visas on this route. We have lived together (and have all the evidence) for 5 years +. We meet all the financial requirements and have given all the documents, plus more.

I have previously had a student visa but this was back in 2010-2012, no refusals, no issues or overstays for this either.

Hearing that makes me really worried now :(

Did you submit the correct English test if not exempt and did you submit Life in the UK test pass letter??

What exactly did you submit as supporting documents?

Payslips and corresponding bank statements
How many months payslips and corresponding bank statements did you submit? Who meets the £18,600pa income requirement?
P60
This was not required.
English language certificate (checked the list of qualifying ones beforehand)

What level of English and which test exactly did you do?

Also more importantly, what date did you enter the UK on your initial visa?

Was your initial visa a 6 months fiance visa or a 2.5 year spouse visa?

What date does your current FLR(M) visa expire?

What date was your first FLR(M) visa valid from??

You do realise that the 6 months fiance visa is EXCLUDED from the 5 year residence and doesn't count. You need 5 years on FLR(M), 2 x 2.5 year visas before you can apply for ILR.

There is something in your application that might not meet the requirements hence the letter on its way to you.

If it is a refusal and offer of something else, the letter will tell you the exact reasons and under what rule the decision has been made. If you post the wording of the letter when you get, we would be able to offer better advice.

Hopefully the centre scanned everything that was required and if any document was double sided, they scanned both sides. Hope you checked before leaving the centre.

What date does your current visa expire? Presumably also a FLR(M) visa and not FLR(FP) for not meeting requirements at extension stage.

Yes, I supplied my spouses payslips, bank statements, and letter from employer. What is the financial consent form? I haven't heard of this and it was not on our application or list of documents.

There are 3 consent forms that need to be signed at the end of the application, depending on what you put in the form you get 1 and 2 and sometimes all three.

It is consent for ho to do checks. You would have had to sign one, your partner would have had to sign one and anything you submitted in joint names would have required the 3rd one to be signed as far as I understand.

The only forms that were supplied to download on completion of the application was the declaration (partners relationship declaration is what it was called)

It is Consent for Verification checks that must be signed and submitted.

I went to my sopra appointment today - and this form was not requested or mentioned. Where is it?

That was not provided on completion of the application online or before. I haven't seen it before.

There wasn't any mention of this at the appointment, but then again not sure if they would say anything

They would have needed to be downloaded towards the end of the application. They are mandatory to give HO permission to conduct their checks.

Note that UKCVAS is only a third party agent. They are not immigration advisors or HO staff.
