Tier 2 sponsorship by NHS trusts, hospitals and universities

Post by MarbleMarch » Wed Jul 03, 2019 9:28 pm

Can anyone please share their experience with getting sponsored for a Tier 2 visa for the following types of jobs:

• Non-clinical positions at NHS trusts and hospitals
• Non-academic positions at universities

I see a lot of these employers on the Register of Sponsors and I wonder if it's easier to get sponsored by them as opposed to private companies.

Thanks.

Hi
Yes I work for the NHS and I was employed as an information analyst at the time my job fell under 2132 I think which was research scientist though the title didn’t match but job description was word to word .
2132 was under shortage occupation list and hence was a blessing in disguise. By gods grace things went smoothly and I am now a BC :)
Let me know if you have any queries.
You can get a job in non academic areas as long as u meet the salary requirements

Thank you for your reply and congrats on becoming a citizen. Were you hired from the UK or overseas?
