Can Depandants travel before Main Applicant

Hi there,
One of my friend is applying for Tier1 for her and her husband as depandant from India.Once their visa is sorted, her husband(Depandant in this case) wants to travel to UK first and later on the wife(Main Applicant) will join him.
Is it ok to enter UK as depandant without main applicant for the first time?
