Remorse letter

Hi all
I just wondering in case of citizenship refusal due to some reason which did not cause any court charge or investigation but and which was not mentioned in the application form, is it possible to reapply for citizenship with remorse letter saying that forgot and regret about it and what chance would be after that to get approved?

he case is still being processed and is on the second stage. Refusal has not been issued yet and hope that will not be issued.reason adult caution.
Garda said that they have no records about adult caution and have nothing criminal on me.
