Spouse visa

Hi all just a quick one.
Do you have to send coloured copies of your passport for the spouse visa as I have sent black and white copies and now I have read that may be a issue also I rang the payed visa help line but the gentleman wasn’t very clear in his answer first he said it has to be coloured and then stated it would be delayed.Please could someone ease my mind.

I think as long as it’s a clear copy, as in they are able to read it all ok, I don’t see what the problem will be. Good luck x
