Help - Queries on stamp 4 original documentation

Hi all,

My husband and I are currently applying for his stamp 4 on the basis of marriage to an Irish national. We applied last year and got a letter recently to resubmit all original documentation such as passports, birth certificates etc.

My question is this - for P60s and Payslips - is it okay to print them off the website or do I have to put in a request from revenue to post them out to my address?

You can usually print them from the HR portal if your employer has one. You can also have HR issue and stamp one if you are really worried about whether they will be considered 'original'. I don't think you need to get revenue involved.

Yeah P60 and payslips are both issued by your employer, not revenue. P60 has been discontinued from this year. You can get P21 from revenue PAYE online portal if necessary.

Hi again,

So we submitted all our documentation including our passports back to INIS by registered post.

Does anyone know roughly how long it will take for INIS to respond? We have an appointment booked for the first week in August at GNIB but perhaps I should cancel it if that is far too optimistic?

I'm not familiar with the current process of applying for a Stamp 4. When I originally applied in 2016 I entered the country as a non-visa required national on a 90 day stamp and attended my INIS appointment during that time. I didn't need to send anything into the post ahead of time. I'm guessing the process has changed.

When did you apply for the stamp 4? What month and year? And when they answered, what did they asked for?

I am in the same page 10months waiting now.
