France Type C+D visa

Post by lapie » Tue Jul 08, 2008 4:56 pm

Hi,
The Visa form has a option of Type C+D Visa but the site doesn't mention about this kind of Visa. Can somebody tell me what are the rules and regulations of this visa and who is eligible for this ?

Thanks,
lapie

C is a short stay visa. Needed for those countries that do not allow automatic 90 day tourist access.

D is long stay visa which covers a lot of different reasons to apply. Examples: student, work, retirement, staying over 90 days basically.

The Wikipedia has some information about the different visa types.
