Electronic Payslips

Post by anupvijay » Mon Apr 19, 2004 11:21 am

Friends,

For past few years, in the companies I have been working in, the payslips
are sent to all employees by email. (some finance software generates
payslips and sends automatically)

Just want to be sure that a print out of this slip is good enough.
I mean, are payslips also expected to be on company letter heads ?
I might be sounding too careful but want to double check what I have
with me.
The bank statements match the payslips, which also carried the bank
account numbers.

Waiting for answers.......
Cheers.

Is that affirmative ?
Has anyone submitted online documents like bank statements and payslips
as it is ? Or has everyone got it attested ?

Cheers.

Any online document submitted must be certified by the issuing authority - in the case of payslips your company and for bank statements a relevant bank official....too much forgery dude...way too easy to generate false docs  .

Thanks Kayalami.

But what does authorization mean ?

I mean does it have to be another letter from the concerned authority
stating the authenticity ?

Or is it that the documents should be stamped and signed by the
organization?

Or Notary Public attestation ?

Where is the line drawn as to what is "authorized" ?

Just intrigued. Because getting authorization from 3-4 institutions like
banks and previous companies will eat up my time which is something
against me now.

Thanks again.
