Date on payslips

Post by Rob812 » Fri Jul 26, 2019 10:11 am

Hi,

I am trying to make sure I have everything in order for a fiance visa application.

I get my payslips every month and get paid on the 26th of each month. However my payslips have a "Process Date" which is the final day of the month. For example, I received my salary 26/07/2019 but my payslip says 31/07/2019. In this scenario, do the 28 days for the financial evidence start from the 26th or the 31st?

Thank you in advance for anyone who can help with this.

If this helps you to work out the 28th days submission;
For my husband’s spouse application,
I submitted the last bank statement (which is the 19th of April) and don’t get paid until the 24th of April (this is when my payslip is available to be downloaded/printed). My husband submitted online application on the 10th of May so this is well within 28days.

I hope this helps?

This is a log of help. Can I check that your bank statement did not include your salary paid on the 24th of April?

Just to clarify to avoid confusing you.

Bank statements is from Nov - April
It’s issued every 20th of each month
So the last one (that marks the 6th month) reads from 20th March - 19th April

My payslip, however is issued on the 14th of every month which is when I receive my salary.
So pay date says 24.04.2019
Pay period: 01.04.2019 - 30.04.2019

Online application submitted 10 May 2019
Spouse visa

I hope that makes sense and is helpful.

Count the 28 days from 31st despite you get your wages 1 week earlier for the whole month. Also to avoid any confusion explain about it in additional info section or even employer letter can also explain it.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
