Courier service tracking

Post by anonymous1999 » Fri Jul 26, 2019 11:38 am

Hi, my husband has received the processed visa text and told that the documents and passport will be delivered to his address as we chose the courier option. There is no tracking number in the text or email we received. There is no mention of what courier is being used either. Just says documents will be delivered to his address. Is this normal?

If you paid for prepaid postage (to go back
to a UK address) then it would be sent back to the UK address.

The biometrics appointment was in australia and on the appointment all the documents were submitted and courier service was purchased for the documents to be sent back to my husbands address in australia. I am just wondering why a tracking number hasn’t been sent. Is that normal?

Hello,

To those who have previously chosen to have their passport/documents couriered to their address instead of collecting them, did you receive a separate email/text with a parcel tracking number or any other detail about the documents being posted back to you after this standard email:

‘’The processed visa application for GWF reference number - GWFXXXXXXXXX was received at the UK Visa Application Centre on 7/25/2019 .
If a courier service was purchased from VFS Global, your processed application will be delivered to the chosen address.

If not, your documents can be collected during the designated passport collection times.

Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.’’

I am really confused as to why we have not received any detail about which delivery company is delivering our documents/passport back and why there is no tracking number. We have no idea where they could be and when they could come and there is no real contact number to contact the VFS centre by.

Also, is the day that we receive this standard email above the same day that the documents are posted for delivery?
