Tier 2 Dependant extension while Main applicant on ILR

Post by nbandla » Wed Jul 31, 2019 10:39 pm

Hi All

I was on Tier 2 General with expiry date of 19 May 2020.
I recently got my ILR in April 2019, now my wife is applying for her Tier 2 general dependent extension, she will need visa until December 2020 to qualify for her 5 years ILR.

Now
Q1) Since my PBS visa expires on 19th May 2020, can i still put expiry date as Dec 2020 as i have got my ILR?

Q2 If so should i mention my ILR BRP number or Tie r 2 BRP number?

If Q1 answer is No what are my options for her 5 years completion?

Any help in this matter is much appropriated.

Your tier 2 visa has been cancelled when you got ILR. You need to put an expiry date 3 years from now to get the correct IHS fees.
Q2 If so should i mention my ILR BRP number or Tie r 2 BRP number?
Probably ILR.
If Q1 answer is No what are my options for her 5 years completion?
Note that she applies for a 3 year extension and must pay for 3 years. You cannot choose a lesser visa extension period.
