FLR(IED) - Additional documents

Post by topoftheworld » Mon Mar 21, 2005 3:49 pm

Dear All,
I have recently got HSMP approval and applied for FLR(IED) on 10-Mar-2005.
I have sent the following documents to Home Office for FLR(IED).

1) Passport (self)
2) Passport (Spouse)
3) Two passport size photographs (self)
4) Two passport size photographs (spouse)
5) FLR(IED) form
6) HSMP Approval Letter (Original)

Recently, I have recevied the acknowledgement letter from Home Office about receipt of my FLR application.

However, I somehow forgot to send the -
1) Marriage certificate
2) Bank Statements (last 3 months)

Now, shall I send these 2 documents to FLR(IED) dept. Home Office(quoting my reference number mentioned in the acknowledgement letter) before FLR Dept. asks for them OR shall I wait for them to ask for these additional documents?

Also, does "missing" these documents in the application package hamper the decision?

Eagerly waiting for your response !!

Many Thanks,

The best thing to do is give them a call. Qoute the reference number given in your acknowledgement letter so that they can identify you. They are generally very polite and helpful and will be able to give you an appropriate advise.

Also note that when you speak to them, they can add additional notes in their system against your application so that when the case worker is alloted your application he can also look at the additional notes and understand your predicament.

You can find their phone numbers in the last page (18th) of the FLR(IED)

Many congrats Topoftheworld :)

Could you let me know how did you send your documents to Home office?
If it is by special delivery, how did you arrange delivery back to you?

Early reply will be highly appreciated as I need to apply tommorow for sure.

Regards
