Naturalization Questions

Post by Jack&Jill » Wed Jul 03, 2019 9:06 pm

Dear All moderators,

Thank you for all your continuous support and guidance.

I have got my ILR on 30/07/2018 via 5 year Tier-2 route.

1. When can I apply for my naturalization. I mean date. Can I apply now 28 days before one year?

2. If apply, which form should I use? Please provide the online link.

Once again thank you in advance. Good day.!

1. There is no 28 days early concession for citizenship. You must hold ilr for the full 12 months. Unless you are married to a British citizen.

2. Form AN. https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... onality-an

Naturalization Questions

Post by Jack&Jill » Wed Jul 03, 2019 10:46 pm

Dear all Moderators,

I've been following IB for couple of years now. Thank you for all your continuous support and help.

I got my ILR last year 30/07/2018 via T2 - 5 year route. I'm applying for naturalization on 30/07/2019. My questions are

1. Since few years I'm confused about this Brexit. Is that going to happen or not?

2. At the time when I get BP, will I get red ones or blue ones?

3. Can I work in EU without work visa if Brexit happens?

Much appreciate for your answers and thank you in advance.

Respected Moderators,

I'm applying for naturalisation, already the application process has been started, my question is

1. In employment history, do I need to provide all employment details since beginning?

2. Is that Ok if I can provide approximate start and end dates or should I need to provide accurate dates?

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

You are free to travel but HO can ask for any additional documents at any stage to process your application. If there is someone to collect the post or you are not going away for very long I think its a wise choice not to miss any post incase.

Dear Zimba,

Does the employment history includes only full-time job or both full-time and part-time?

Thanks in advance.

Dear Moderators,

I got ILR last year via Tier 2(G) 5 year route and as a dependent my wife got ILR 2 months ago. Now after a year I'm in the process of applying naturalisation. My question is

1. Can my wife apply with me?

2. In documents list, Mr. Xxx most recent tax year account statement and corresponding HMRC tax return as proof of self-employment.

I have last year P60 from my previous employment and for an year now I'm self-employed and not paid the tax. Still I have time to pay. As I got reminder letter from HMRC saying the deadline to pay tax amount. Here my question is those P60 with the HMRC reminder letter is enough as document proof?

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Not if she got ILR only two months ago.

She needs to wait until either (a) she completes one year with ILR or (b) you have attended your citizenship ceremony and got your naturalisation certificate. Only at that point do you become a British citizen and she can then apply as the spouse of a British citizen.
