IHS 0 FEE CHARGED

Post by epani » Thu Aug 01, 2019 10:41 am

I applied for TIER 2 GENERAL from India. I was trying to pay IHS fee and i knew it must be £1200 pounds for 3 years.

While redirected to IHS site for filling details, there was a query about will you join someone who is in UK and it asks their details.
I answered - YES and provided my husbands IHS number (Which i should have not done). Boom. I got 0 IHS fee and IHS number.

I ignored that application completely and started a fresh application from scratch and came to IHS after completing the new application and did not give any details for that question. The it showed a fee of ~107000 INR which I paid and finished end to end.

Has anyone did like this earlier? I will update after my process completes.

Received visa.

In case if you have provided any IHS number of earlier visa and IHS calculates to 0, ignore that application and start fresh and pay correct IHS fees. This way you will reduce delay later.

Yes monday biomtrics. Saturday courier delivered.

The best is to pay in INR. Paying GBP would again add exchange rate conversion on INR fee and calculate even higher.

I ended up 1280 in my UK credit card for what was supposed to be 1200 :-)

:o :o I have no idea. Did you give your COS dates correctly? Probably experienced moderators can say.
I paid for 3 years but did not mention anything saying 3 years. it calculates the fee based on CoS dates.

Hi i paid 1499 pounds for Tier 2 dependent visa for each person for 3 years, it's calculated as 1200 but then they charge 300 extra and I don't know whether it will be refunded back or not.
