Is it possible to switch from Tier 2 to Tier 4 within UK

Hi ,
I came to UK as a student to complete an MBA in 2011, I successfully completed it and changed my status from Tier 4 to Tier 1 in 2012. Status changed again from Tier 1 to Tier 2 in 2014. Now I will be completing 6 Years on Tier 2 in 2020. As I am short 7 months to complete 10 years in order to apply for ILR through 10-year route. Could someone advise on what all are the options I have to make a decision in order to get ILR in the UK? Looking Forward to replies.

Why not apply for ilr based on tier 2 in September when you reach 5 years?

If you wish to switch into tier 4 then yes you can if you can be able to fulfil its requirements
