Applied on 07/08 but not yet received any email !!!

Hi

I applied online for a spouse visa on 07/08 but haven't received an email like "Your online application has been received at the UK Decision Making Centre" till today. Not sure why is it taking so much time !!??
All my documents were scanned at the VFS center and were returned back to me. I was expecting an update in 2-3 working days but nothing till now.
Anyone else also facing the same issue, please respond.

Standard applications take up to 8 weeks.

It is priority applications that are quick.

Hi,
The confirmation mail does not come to everyone. In few instances, people have got visa without receiving that mail.
Standard application takes a bit longer. Just wait for 15 working days from biometrics to even think about it. No need to panic now. You have to be patient.
