Passport validity for Tier-2 VISA

We want to apply for Tier-2 General visa, my daughter passport validity is up to October 6th, so it is around 5 weeks. We are from travelling from UK to India for applying VISA. Please suggest me, is that ok to apply for VISA before we apply for new VISA. Please suggest me asap, thanks in advance.

You should renew the passport as if her passport is not valid for a minimum of 30 days, she won't get the 30 day visa vignette as her passport won't be valid for travelling to the UK.

Why are you not applying within the UK? You appear to have a visa and if you leave you will be subject to the 12 month cooling off period.
