Replacement of BRC while on pre-settled status?

Hi people,
I have been granted pre-settled status until 2024 but my Biometric Residence Card expires 2022.My question is , if I seek replacement of BRC , will I be issued new card valid to 2024 as my new immigration status states?
I know people usually upgrade their immigration status and get the new card simultaneously but I am unusual person and wonder if this is possible

you have to apply for brc replacment card cause after dec 2020 it will not be valid if you are non eu resident
HO have asked me to apply for the replacement if i already got brc

how can we apply to replace brc. as non eu nationals who had rc ,if lost have to apply again according to eea2 gudlines. as i also have pre settled and my brc was issue under eea . my brc is valid till 2022 and pre settle till 2024.
