Hi,
I received email on 29th july from nationalitysupportteam....that I will be contacted by post with in 21 days. But I have not received any letter yet, been waiting for 18 days now. Is it normal for them to take all 21 days to send the post? Please reply...
Thank you

I have received an email yesterday from furthernationality.. that “... a decision has been made on your application and a letter was send out on 19th, you will receive it in 21 working..” I am hoping letters don’t take all 21 working to arrive, do they? Is it second class royalmail? Please reply

It usually takes 21 days and it comes second class post, A5 brown envelope (looks similar to junk mail).

I got it on 21st day. Though i did chase up by emailing
Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gov.uk
I think my email worked as reminder and they put my letter in post after that.

I got in 21 days overall, not working days. Email on the id I gave above if you want to chase up.. but as your letter was sent on 19th Aug, I would wait for couple of weeks before emailing them again. I think you will get it this week by Friday. or request for a soft copy instead as i did and got it within a week in my email. Make sure you include your surname and application reference in the subject.

Hi, I have received soft copy of approval letter. And I tried to book ceremony but it says “home Office reference not found”. I put the reference number that says “our reference” on the letter, there is no other reference number on letter. Am I doing something wrong?

You will need to either wait for invitation or call your local council as mentioned on your approval letter. Not sure if you can do it online as it suggests from your note above.

Did your letter have any “home office reference” or was it just “our reference”?

It was with HO ref which is your application reference.
