Tier 2 dependent visa for child without spouse application

Can we get tier 2 dependent visa for child when main applicant and one child are planning to move to UK while spouse and other children staying back in UAE. I heard they dont approve if both husband and wife are not moving together. kindly help

Unlikely as the immigration rules require both parent to have visa etc

Thanks for reply. Any possibility if I give a permission or authority letter to take my child while I am not travelling and do not even apply for tier 2 dependent for myself.

Won't make a difference. The rules are very clear. Either the other parent/child also apply or none of the dependents apply.

The main applicant(My wife) has already applied for tier 2 general . Now is it the only option that rest of the family including myself apply as dependent. After collecting BRP I can come back with 2 children while my wife and daughter stayback
